Due South promptfiction I've been trying to write daily for a few months now, write fiction, that is. I was doing really well for a while, writing to prompts from
A Writer's Book of Days, in the universe of the original novel I'm working on. But then the buying of the house thing happened and I was so distracted it was fucking impossible to focus even a little bit on writing. Things with the house are still really messed up (hi, mold in the basement that's supposed to be my office, hi crack in the mortar of the foundation blocks that has to be examined by a professional) but I've got a temporary workstation set up in the spare bedroom and I just get so
bored when I'm not writing. So I've been trying to do some more of those prompts when I can get my head together enough. And I've been doing Due South ones because that seems lower pressure. Here are the two that I've gotten done so far. Neither are terribly original in concept, but hey, at this point I can't afford to be picky. I hope that they'll prove at least mildly entertaining anyway.
